The entire USA at 100 meter resolution in seamless DEM format. Due to the size of this database comprising 953 one degree by one degree quads, equivalent to 8 Gigabytes when decompressed to a DEM file, the USA DEM is supplied in our proprietary compressed PSB format on two CD-ROM's. The Eastern USA DEM covers 64º thru 115º West, and the Western DEM covers 86º thru 125º West, allowing a substantial overlap to allow most likely extraction needs in the Central USA area. The complete USA DEM coast to coast can be special ordered as one seamless database on 2 CD-ROM's for you to rejoin on your hard drive or other media; note that you will need at least 800 Mb of free space - please call 800-800-8560 or email the US Digital Wisdom office for more details.
Each DEM database is supplied with MapRender™ Convert allowing interactive selection of the specified area, defined by upper and lower latitude, and East and West longitude, to be extracted. The following projections are supported, with full parameter selection:

Output format of the DEM files is standard USGS DEM's.
The USA DEM is available for Windows 95, 98 and NT at this time. Pricing for the Eastern or Western DEM database is $95, or $175 for the two CD-ROM USA DEM set. If purchased with MapRender3D Pro, the additional price is $100 for the two CD-ROM set, or $395 for the MapRender3D packaged with the USA 100 Meter DEM (already include the worldwide 1,000 meter DEM), a 4 CD-ROM set. The fully integrated 800 Mbyte USA DEM in one seamless file - shipped as 2 CD-ROM's with reassembly utility - is priced at $195.
